FCCLA (Family, Career, Community Leaders of America) is a family, community and service based club.
During the year we do the following activities:

- Dessert luncheon during the high school fall and spring plays; FCCLA sponsor and parents donate desserts and members and sponsor serve them during intermission of the plays, people give a free will donation and then we give this money to the Howard Greeley Food Pantry
- Toy collection, hats and mittens, and food at Christmas time to help the underprivileged children in the area; through the Senior Center
- Pop tab collection for the Make a Wish Foundation of Nebraska; then the group makes treats for the winners in the grade school that have collected the tabs
- Babysitting during Parent-Teacher Conferences
- 6-8th Dance twice a year
- Other projects will be done throughout the year as we get more information from National FCCLA office-this year it will be Feed the Children and Autism Speaks.
- Help at the Safe Trick or Treat night at the school.
- We have also done collections for the Red Cross during disasters in the U.S.
- Attend District Convention in the fall with as many as 40 members; I just finished being District Advisor for a 2 year rotation
- Go to 2 district planning meetings twice a year with the District Officer
- Jrs. and Srs. attend Peer Retreat every year-do projects having to do with families that go with this retreat
- Officers attend State FCCLA Convention in Lincoln every year
- We have meetings during the year as will fit in the schedule in the early evening. This year I am having some Jr. High meetings separate from the High School members. All will be at school in the FCS room and will be sponsored by me.
